Fall Family Campout

October 17th 4:00PM– October 18th, 2025 9:00AM Join us for a magical night under the stars at our annual Fall Family Campout! Pitch your tent on the grounds of the Dunwoody Nature Center and enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with nature, adventure, and quality family time. This overnight experience includes: A guided night hike A cozy campfire S’mores will be provided (feel free to bring your own supplies if you have special dietary needs). Self-guided nature activities and crafts Stargazing and peaceful forest sounds Wake up to birdsong and the crisp morning air in the heart of Dunwoody’s forest. Whether you're new to camping or a seasoned pro, this is the perfect way to experience the great outdoors—right in your own backyard! One registration covers up to 5 people per campsite. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early! Please note: This program requires a minimum number of sign-ups. If the minimum is not met, registered participants will be contacted, and refunds will be issued within 7-10 days. Camp chairs, plates, utensils, and cooking gear if desired Picnic blanket or supplies for outdoor meals Provided by DNC: Hammers/mallets for tent setup S’mores and supplies Dietary Restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions, you’re welcome to bring your own s’mores supplies. Indoor restrooms, fresh water, and outdoor electricity Meals: Campers are responsible for their own dinner and breakfast. You're welcome to bring a picnic or use a camp stove (no open flames allowed). Coolers may be stored in your car or inside the building. Picnic tables and open meadow space are available for dining.
