September 30 - October 12, 2026 The Nomadic College is a traveling international intensive grounded in the Axis Syllabus, an interdisciplinary research framework that draws on anatomy, biomechanics, and somatic inquiry to deepen how we understand and inhabit movement. Each chapter convenes an international faculty and a dedicated cohort of practitioners for an extended period of immersive study. Chapter 3 arrives at Earthdance this fall. The two weeks are divided by a free day on October 6th: Week One, “Common Ground,” moves through four daily sessions exploring gesture, morphology, collective composition, and the seasonality of motion. Week Two, “Fractalicious,” opens into resonance, anatomy of the jump, relational ecology, and the reach and lift of the shoulder girdle.
