About this event
One of 21 upcoming events at East Bay Photo Collective.
Wet Plate Collodion involves hand-coating a metal or glass plate with collodion then submerging it in silver nitrate. While still wet, the sensitized plate is put in a camera, exposed, and processed immediately following exposure. Participants learn the basics of this historical process, using metal plates to create tintypes. Requirements: All materials are provided by EBPCO! Some previous experience with large format photography and view camera operation is required. REGISTRATION INFO AT EBPCO.ORG/WORKSHOPS
