About this event
One of 29 upcoming events at East Tennessee Historical Society and Museum.
Make your next trip to the McClung Collection your most productive trip yet. Organized genealogy begins with organized research workflows. Learn how to create a field kit to bring with you to libraries and archives to make the most of your time in the collection. Then discover ways to organize all of the paper copies, photos, clippings, notes, and citations you found when you return home. Various tools will be shared that you can use to create charts, timeline grids and digital notebooks to organize family records. This class includes handouts and forms to help chart your research. This workshop is free; however, pre-registration is required, as space is limited. Instructor: Brandie Ledford, Reference Assistant, McClung Historical Collection, Knox County Public Library
