Mingle Mahj: A Fundraiser for The Haven

Join us for a fun evening of Mahjong while supporting a great organization! • Choose your playing level - tables will have themes for the fun of it! • “Beginner and feeling ready!” • “Playing more and getting my groove on!” • “Ready for the big time cruise ships!” • Mingle and socialize and work that Mahjong! • Prizes for each Mahjong and raffle door prizes galore!! • Bring your 2026 NML card • Come a tad early, food for purchase, but don't grease up the tiles!! Happy gathering from 5:00-5:30 - get assigned a table, grab a drink and/or something to eat and meet your new table mates. Play starts at 5:30 - raffle prizes every 30 minutes. (You get a raffle ticket at paid entry and with every item you buy from the sale table!!!). We will play American Mahjong, following the rules of the National Mahjongg League - but this is NOT a tournament, we will not be generating points or following a round-robin format - we are playing for FUN and for the delight of meeting new people and maybe even learning from each other! “House rules”, rather, “table rules” are allowed, you just need to agree with your tablemates at the start of the game. (i.e. using blanks, ok to take your own tiles from the wall during the deal etc).
