How did bicycles, an automobile race around the world, Henry Ford, and a county commissioner from Tulsa lead to the birth of Route 66? In his presentation, Trait Thompson, executive director of the Oklahoma Historical Society, will weave together the story of a seemingly disparate series of events that created the most famous road in the world. This lecture is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is appreciated so we can plan for attendance. RSVP Here
