In observation (and dubious celebration) of the 2026 EGH exhibit O Sordid Type: Edward Gorey’s Art of Lettering, the House and Thacher Hall invite you to join us for an evening of writing the alphabet in various ways. Learn the history of the typefaces Gorey drew his inspiration from and design letterforms of your very own. Tickets include refreshments and light snacks, as well as a pen, ink, notepad, and a pre-cut sheet of Gorey’s beloved Bristol board for your “final project.”
