Tracks and Scat: Animal Tracking at the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve
From publicly posted calendar Checked 18 hours ago
About this event
One of 20 upcoming events at El Rancho de Las Golondrinas, and 440 across Santa Fe.
Can you tell the difference between a coyote print and a dog print? Can you identify a bird by its scat? Tracking is one of the oldest survival skills, so much that it is still ingrained in our human curiosity whether you’re hunting, or trying to identify what animals pass through your yard. Join us and discover the who, what, when, why and how of the animals that traverse the preserve. Ann Hunkins is a LCWP Citizen Scientist and certified tracker. Register for the event here. Friday May 22, 2026 | 9am-11am General $20 | Members $15
