Boo Just For You

Join us at the zoo for some special after hours trick-or-treating fun! This after-hours access of our regularly scheduled Boo at the Zoo event is specially geared for our guests with sensory needs along with their families and caregivers. This is a great opportunity to experience and enjoy Boo at the Zoo in a more relaxed setting, perfect for those with sensory sensitivities. Two of our indoor buildings will remain open for the event, Trail of the Jaguar and Habitat HQ. Guests can walk the zoo and participate in treat stations, animal meet-and-greets, a costume parade and more! Don’t forget your costume and your trick-or-treat bag! Friday, October 30 from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Tickets: Pre-registration is preferred $14.95 for Non-Members $10.95 for Yearly Members Personal care attendants and/or one-on-one aids may enter at no charge. Purchase Tickets Interested in becoming a vendor? Fill out our vendor agreement form. In May of 2018, Elmwood Park Zoo became the first zoo to earn a certification as a Certified Autism Center. The designation, given by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), is awarded to organizations that have completed a training and review process with the goal to better serve individuals with autism and other sensory needs.
