Elmwood Park Zoo invites you to celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day on Saturday, September 5! This event is free to attend with free zoo admission. Details International Vulture Awareness Day shines a spotlight on the highly important yet vastly misunderstood birds – vultures. Stop by the Discovery Center to learn all about these bird’s incredible adaptations; catch a keeper chat to learn which vultures call the zoo home; and watch a real life vulture soar past in our Wild Encounter!
