Yoga in the Garden

August 8th at 9:00am Yoga in the Garden Join us on Saturday, August 8th at 9:00 a.m. for a peaceful and rejuvenating outdoor yoga experience. You will be surrounded by nature and the tranquil atmosphere of the historic Shaker Village. This is an all levels yoga class. This class is the perfect opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and begin your weekend with intention. The class will be led by Caleigh, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and registered nurse. Caleigh brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to movement and wellness. Through mindful breathing, gentle stretching, and guided movement. Participants will be encouraged to cultivate balance, strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice, this class will include modifications and options to help support your individual needs and comfort level. This accessible yoga class is designed for participants who can comfortably get down to the ground and return to standing without assistance. Being able to stand unsupported, and bear weight on their hands, wrists, and knees will make this class more enjoyable. Caleigh will provide guidance throughout the class to help participants move safely and confidently. Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing suitable for movement and bring a yoga mat or beach towel, along with water to stay hydrated. We also recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle into the garden setting and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before class begins. In the event of inclement weather, the class will be moved indoors to the Stone Mill Building.
