About this event
One of 13 upcoming events at Every Thing Goes, and 6,842 across New York City.
Presentation and discussion. Come share your questions, ideas and wonderings about the upcoming election. We look at how the public can respond to election sabotage. We get prepared to act to protect our votes and make sure they’re counted. We refuse to be scared out of action. We will discuss tactics the administration is using to try to control the election outcome with the goal of remaining in power against the will of the majority of voters. Possible scenarios include disinformation about mail-in voting or about noncitizen voting, followed by voter suppression, Federal intervention, and refusal to respect the results. We look forward to hearing your thoughts about strategy and local pressure points where the public could have an impact if our votes are tampered with.
