Madska – Live at Evil Genius

Madska is self-proclaimed rose-colored rock from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band is fronted by Maddy Rose Weisman with guitarist Sean Bonney-Burrill, and keyboardist Gabe Banford. Their lyricism touches on themes of yearning, nostalgia, and soul searching with a hopeful twist. Madska’s sound, which sits somewhere between pop, rock, indie, and alternative, is unique: introspective yet driving, healing yet fiery. This show features two supporting acts. New Planets is a New York based genre-defying band that blends psychedelic funk, poly-rock, and experimental dance music. Cheri and the Whipped Cream is an emerging psych-funk rock band based out of Philadelphia, fronted by powerhouse vocalist Cheri Green.
