Girlfriend Medicine is a live comedy experience blending devised and improvisational theater with women’s health education. Created by writer-performer-producer Michelle Dougherty in collaboration with Dr. Becky Lynn, MD of Evora Medical Group and a diverse ensemble of female-identifying comedians and actors, the show uses humor to break silence and stigma around menopause, hormones, and aging. Through devised moments, spontaneous improv, and authentic storytelling, Girlfriend Medicine centers, celebrates, and empowers midlife women—creating a joyful, inclusive space where audiences feel seen, heard, and validated.
