The annual Japanese Festival is one of the largest and longest running festivals of its kind in the United States, presenting taiko drumming, bon odori festival dancing, martial arts, candlelight walks in the Japanese Garden, and more. Doors open at 9 a.m. Last entry on Labor Day (September 7) at 4:30 p.m. Festival admission required to visit the Garden. Please note: No trams, free hours or early morning walking hours on signature event weekends.
