Beginning the Journey #1

The first three years of a child’s life are a critical period for growth, development, and learning. Florida’s Early Steps program provides Early Intervention (EI) services to eligible infants and toddlers from birth to age three, helping them build essential skills and reach their developmental potential. This presentation introduces families to the fundamentals of early childhood development, the services and supports available through Early Steps, and the importance of partnering with Early Intervention providers. Participants will also gain an understanding of the Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP) and how it supports their child’s unique developmental needs.
