In celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, this workshop explores mindfulness through Indigenous traditions and principles. The program will highlight the history and culture of the Reckouwacky people, a Native American group of the Lenape who inhabited the Rockaway Peninsula and surrounding coastal areas. Learn how Indigenous relationships with the land and waterways influence perspectives on wellness. Everyone is welcome!
