Performer: Anne Walsh and Tom Zink This performance showcases some of his most beautiful music along with other classics that parallel his most prolific era. Arranged by Grammy nominated pianist Tom Zink, and featuring Anne Walsh and some of LA’s top musicians. Many of Bacharach’s most memorable pieces have been performed in the Bossa Nova style, and his approach to contemporary writing influenced many of the top performers in that genre. We’ll create a tapestry of our favorite Bacharach songs with some Brazil 66, and Astrud Gilberto favorites in this romantic show. Featuring classics such as “I Say A Little Prayer”, “Alfie”, “One Less Bell”, and other classics from the era.
