Performer: Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band continue to honor and celebrate the life and music of Jimmy Buffett through performances across the country. The band has incorporated selections from Buffett’s final album, Equal Strain on All Parts, including “Bubbles Up” and “My Gummy Just Kicked In,” and concludes each show with an encore performance of “Lovely Cruise,” offering a fitting and heartfelt send-off. Mark Wood has been performing Buffett’s music since 1976, and the Parrot Head Band has been together since 1995. Over the years, they have opened for Buffett at the Verizon Amphitheater and have performed alongside members of the Coral Reefer Band, who have also joined them on stage.
