Jean Lenke offers jazz, folk and blues: all shades, all hues. This performance “What the World Needs Now” will present music celebrating the end of summer, the beginning of harvest season, and the things we need to nourish our souls. With a beautifully smooth and soulful voice, Pacific Northwest Jazz, Folk & Blues vocal artist Jean Lenke paints music in full color, with broad strokes and a free hand. As bandleader her approach to music is free spirited, crossing boundaries and mixing genres ~ she doesn’t always color inside the lines. Whether performing with an intimate acoustic Duo or Trio, with her full 6-piece Summer Jazz Band, with her “Jean Therapy X” Jazz-Fusion Quartet, or with her all women Red Rose Jazz Project, Jean’s fresh approach to Classic Jazz is influenced by an eclectic mix of mid-century Folk, Jazz-Rock Fusion and a Soulful heartfelt passion for life. Jean will release a new album, The Sea the Sky, on February 5th, 2027. The new project is a mid-century Jazz-Folk tribute, telling a story that celebrates all of the shades and hues that life brings us here in the great Pacific Northwest! Free Jazz Sunday has become a Field Hall staple event. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of live music, ocean views, and our specialty mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. General Admission seating is first come, first-served and not guaranteed throughout the event. LIVE MUSIC in the Sunset Lounge from 12:00 to 1:30PM. Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar available in the Sunset Lounge 11:00AM – 2:00PM. The Waterfront Coffee Bar will be open and offering food and drink from 8:00AM-3:00PM. Free Jazz Sunday is a monthly event series at Field Hall and is made possible through the support of local donors; if you’d like to support this series, please consider a donation at checkout or during the event.
