1866. Live on Stage

A high-energy Homecoming pep rally inspired by the iconic 106 & Park, reimagined as 1866 & Park to celebrate Fisk University spirit, student talent, alumni, and Homecoming. The event will feature a male and female host, line dancing, alumni vs. student games, student “Fit Checks,” a D9 Step Show, Fisk chants, and the Access Granted poster judging. Two hosts: one male and one female to give the event a true 106 & Park-style hosting dynamic. Access Granted Poster Judging: students who participated in the poster-making event will bring their posters to the Pep Rally. Students must show their Access Granted wristband + poster to be eligible for the Pep Rally prize. Posters will be judged based on creativity, Fisk spirit, originality, and Homecoming/B.E.T. theme. Alumni vs. Students: fun competitive games that allow alumni and current students to compete against each other. Fit Checks: hosts highlight and showcase students with standout Homecoming outfits. D9 Step Show: participating Divine Nine organizations perform step routines. Line Dancing: interactive line dance portion where the crowd can participate. Fisk Chants: crowd participation, class chants, organization chants, and traditional Fisk spirit moments. Music/DJ throughout the event to keep the energy high with our musical artist.
