About this event

Workshops Arts & Culture

Participants will explore themes of symbolism, memory, and Southern identity through the art of image transfers using household solvents. Drawing inspiration from the works on display in our current exhibitions, Revelations: The Art of Leo Twiggs, and our upcoming Southern Art exhibit, TBA, reflect on how images, historic buildings, landscapes, textiles, photographs, and cultural symbols shape personal and collective memory. Reinterpret the visual language of the South in new ways. No prior experience is necessary. All materials are provided. Date: September 17, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Class Size: Adults. Limited to 12 participants. Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 20, 2026, at 10am. Members get priority ticket access the week before starting July 13, 2026. Only 4 early tickets are available. Price: $10/person for Not Yet Members. Free for Museum Members.
