Join community members to view a film created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The film highlights first-person accounts of the attacks and their aftermath; speakers include: Richard Eichen, who worked on the 90th floor of the North Tower and helped Lucy Gonzalez evacuate just minutes before the collapse of the building despite a severe head injury Terri Tobin, who responded to 9/11 as an NYPD lieutenant and retired in 2024 as Chief of Interagency Operations; she continued rescue efforts despite severe injuries James and Patrick Dowdell, who lost their father, FDNY Lieutenant Kevin Dowdell, to the collapse of the South Tower and honor his legacy through fire and military service Caitlyn McIntyre and Olivia Perez-Johntry, both children of PAPD Officers Donald McIntyre and Anthony Perez who were victims of 9/11 Event held in the library’s South Reading Room.
