MUSIC | Kenny Thacker

Kenny Thacker, musician and storyteller. Kenny grew up playing music in the coal mining country of southeastern Kentucky. By age 12 he was traveling in a family band under the shadow of Bill Monroe and other bluegrass greats appearing on the Grand Ole Opry as well as many other notable venues. In his late teens he responded to a call from God to serve in pastoral and prophetic ministry. Through the years he has continued to develop his God given talents in writing, singing, playing as well as preaching. Today he is sought after as a speaker, storyteller and musician. He is easily in touch with his heritage and his contemporary audience. Those who have the opportunity to be touched by his life are forever blessed.
