Let's Make a Travel Mug

Let’s Make a Travel Mug Saturday, March 13 11am to 1pm Ages 16+ $50 Limit 8 Your morning coffee deserves better! Come play in the mud at the Foundry Art Centre and create your own functional, food-safe, dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe, clay travel mug using slab-building techniques. Education Coordinator Christine Tavares will guide you every step of the way. Students will have the opportunity to make their piece truly unique by adding texture, carving, or stamping. Students will pick the glaze colors and Christine will glaze and fire it. Finished pieces are usually ready for pick-up in 2 weeks but sometimes it takes a little longer. This class is for teen/adult students (ages 16+) with little to no experience in ceramics. (This is a one-day class). If you need accommodations for this program, please contact the Foundry as soon as you are able.
