The 9:30 a.m. performance for this event is at capacity and only accepting waitlist reservations at this time. Turn the poutiest of frowns upside down in this musical featuring whimsical puppets and live performers in a sweeping oceanic adventure. When Mr. Fish sets out on a quest to find Miss Clam’s missing pearl, he discovers there is more to him than his permanently plastered pout. This oceanic adventure tells a tale of resilience and kindness fit for land or sea. Students will be captivated while learning about self-worth and positivity. WISCONSIN STATE EDUCATION STANDARDS ART AND DESIGN A.A.Cn.1.e: Interdisciplinary: Recognize and demonstrate relationships between art and design, and other disciplines. ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS Anchor Standard R3: Analyze how and why individuals, events and ideas develop and interact over the course of a text. Achor Standard R7: Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats. Anchor Standard SL2: Integrate and evaluate information presented in diverse media and formats, including visually, quantitatively and orally. Anchor Standard SL3: Evaluate a speaker’s point of view, reasoning and use of evidence and rhetoric. MUSIC MG3.R.6.i: Express musical ideas through verbal, movement, written or artistic means. SOCIAL STUDIES SS.BH1: Wisconsin students will examine individual cognition, perception, behavior and identity (Psychology). THEATER TP.R.1.e: Analysis: Respond to a theatrical work by sharing what is seen, heard, and/or felt. TP.R.3.e: View Performance: Demonstrate developmentally appropriate audience etiquette.
