Lansing residents and families are invited to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at Lansing’s Great American Cookout, a completely free community event, on Saturday, June 27, from 12-4 p.m. at Fox Pointe! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon filled with food, entertainment, games, and patriotic fun. Attendees will receive a free hot dog, chips, and soft drink while supplies last. Activities include American Revolution trivia, a live DJ, family-friendly activities and crafts, T-shirt making, cornhole, a golf simulator, a gaming truck, and special appearances by historical figures Abigail Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
