Duxbury – Sights and Delights

The Helen Bumpus Gallery presents Duxbury – Sights and Delights Watercolors by Kathy Ferrara On Display from November 3rd until January 3rd with an opening reception on Friday, November 6th from 5:30-700pm Artist Statement I see beauty in the simplest of things: Dew drops on a spiderweb. A pat of butter melting on a hot scone. Light glistening on the facet of a cut crystal vase. The grain patterns on a piece of wood. Through my art, I strive to convey the beauty that is all around us, and evoke delight in those who may see the world through my point of view. It is my hope to remind people to take a moment out of their fast-paced, techno-saturated lives and look, take notice, and appreciate what is, all too often, taken for granted. Look up at the sky often, for you will never see the same one again.
