Brooklyn based, beloved Safka enters the music scene as a 4 piece indie band exploring the intersections of folk, alternative rock, and blues music. Rich atmosphere, layered melodies and textures blend with soulful vocals and eclectic grooves. Sophia Kayafas, (guitar, vocals), Angela Gram (electric guitar), Ethan Lucas (drums), and Joe Rogers (bass) Safka's songwriting pairs radical honesty with soulful introspection, exploring themes of identity and resilience. safkaproject.com
