Bird Walk Along the Wissahickon (Part 4) with Troy Bynum

Meeting at Valley Green Inn Get to know the birds of Wissahickon Valley Park through this four-part guided bird walk series, hosted by Troy Bynum of TB Wildlife Photography LLC in partnership with Friends of the Wissahickon. Participants will learn practical tips for identifying common species and gain insight into how different birds use the park’s diverse habitats throughout the seasons. Attend the full series to follow the changing landscape over time, or join a single hike—everyone is welcome. Difficulty: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces) Parking: There are two parking lots by the Inn. The northern lot can be accessed by Wises Mill Road, and the southern by Valley Green Road. Overflow parking is in the Upper Lot. See map for details.
