Meeting at Ten Box Parking: Park at Historic RittenhouseTown or along nearby neighborhood streets and walk down the paved path marked on this Google map to our meeting location.  Bathrooms: None Join Friends of the Wissahickon and our upstream partners Wissahickon Trails for our annual Creek Clean-Up, this year in celebration of both Earth Day and Celebrate Trails Day! We’ll be meeting at Ten Box and cleaning up litter along the south end of Wissahickon Creek, as well as along the bike bridges and paved path that runs parallel to Lincoln Drive from Forbidden Drive to Ridge Avenue. All are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said, this service day will primarily entail picking up litter with trash grabbers. We provide gloves, tools, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and remember to bring water with you. Detailed information and confirmation of the meeting location will be sent by email one business day before the event. If you are hoping to bring a group of 5 or more people, please reach out to us first. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org. Photo courtesy of William Hoffman Register Below!
