Meeting at Upper Andorra Parking Lot Parking: There will be limited parking onsite at the Upper Andorra Lot, but there’s much more available along Northwestern Avenue. See map for details. Bathrooms: There will be a restroom available for use at the Wissahickon Environmental Center. Love Your Park is an annual week-long celebration of the amazing parks we have here in Philadelphia! At this Saturday service day, we’ll be working on a variety trail improvements around Andorra Meadow. All are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said, this service day may include the following activities: • Trail work: using long-handled tools for scraping, digging, tamping, and cutting; moving heavy objects • Invasive plant removal: bending over, using long handled tools for cutting vines • Litter clean-up We provide gloves, tools, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and remember to bring water with you. Detailed information and confirmation of the meeting location will be sent by email one business day before the event.
