Meeting at Northwestern Avenue and Forbidden Drive (see map here) Distance: 2 miles Level: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces) Audience: 12 years old and up Parking: Northwestern Avenue Parking Area (200 W Northwestern Ave) Bathrooms: No Enjoy a mindful adventure at sunset in the Andorra area of the park. The experience on the trails as the sun is setting offers a new way of sensing the Wissahickon in winter. The light and absence of foliage allows for imagery not possible at other times. While walking there will be in silence, there will be brief moments before, during and after to connect and share with other participants. Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. Service animals are always welcome. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org. Register below!
