Meeting Location TBD Parking: TBD Bathrooms: TBD Would you like to be part of keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join Friends of the Wissahickon staff, Crew Leaders, and Trail Ambassadors in a variety of stewardship tasks! All are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said, this service day may include the following activities: • Trail work: using long-handled tools for digging, raking, and scraping; moving heavy objects • Invasive plant removal: bending over; using long handled tools for cutting • Litter clean-up We provide gloves, tools, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and remember to bring water with you. Detailed information and confirmation of the meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event. If you are hoping to bring a group of 5 or more people, please reach out to us first. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org. Register below!
