Mike Mattison is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, founding member of Scrapomatic, and longtime member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band (TTB) and Derek Trucks Band (DTB). Over his 22-year career with TTB and DTB, he has earned two Grammy Awards, eight Blues Music Awards, and four Canadian Maple Blues Awards, while writing signature songs including “Midnight in Harlem,” which has surpassed 45 million Spotify streams. His latest solo project, Turn a Midnight Corner, blends blues, roots, and storytelling with a talented lineup of musicians from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Scrapomatic, and the Atlanta music scene. The album is inspired by a fictional 1930s blues duo rediscovered decades later, bringing history and imagination together through Mattison’s soulful songwriting.
