They play a variety of originals, written by all members of the band and are influenced by a wide range of styles and artists, including the music of Herbie Hancock, Frank Zappa, and Steve Lehman…. Formed their freshman year at the University of Michigan, they have had the opportunity to study and receive guidance from the likes of Terrell Stafford, Robert Hurst, Brian Lynch, Andy Milne, Ellen Rowe, Caroline Davis, and Chuck Bergeron. They have toured across the country, at notable venues such as the Detroit Jazz Festival, Ravenscroft, Shapeshifter Lab, Mr. Tipples, Aspen-Snowmass Jazz, Berlin MN, The Fox Jazz Festival and more.
