On this Homeschool Day, your family trades the usual curriculum for a hands-on chemistry adventure inside the California Science Center's Big Lab, where staff educators lead small, age-grouped classes built entirely around real experiments. Incredible Chemicals lets kids mix, measure, and observe chemical reactions up close in a real lab setting — the kind of memorable, do-it-yourself science that's hard to recreate at the kitchen table. Because sessions are grouped by age and led by the Center's own science educators, it's a comfortable, well-supervised way to add a full day of real science to your homeschool week.
