Retrospective Art Reception for Anne L. Ireland

During the month of October, the Gafney Library will present a retrospective of the works of the late Anne L. Ireland. This exhibit features a variety of mediums including oils, watercolors, etchings and monotypes- a printmaking process in which a unique print is created by transferring an image from a smooth surface such as glass, metal or plastic onto paper. The retrospective is being curated by Jan Ledbetter, in coordination with Ireland’s daughter, Leigh-Anne Nietling. The Gafney Library welcomes you to join us for a reception on Thursday, October 15th, from 4:00-6:00 pm to view the exhibit and celebrate the work and life of Anne L. Ireland. The retrospective will be on display throughout the month of October and may be viewed during regular library hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:00 pm-7 pm, Friday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
