Historic Home Tour Explore five historic Galena landmarks, including the Congressman Elihu B. Washburne House, a stunning Queen Anne residence now the Painted Cat B&B, the Houy Brewery, and the Washburne Lead Miners Regiment drill field. Discover the architecture, stories, and local legacy that make this guided tour unforgettable! Participates may begin the tour at any location and complete it in any order. Maps will be provided as a guide. $25 per person. Children under 10 are free with a paid adult.   Women in Times of Change The Women of Courage & Commitment and the Women’s Voting League present a special performance honoring the remarkable women who helped shape a nation in transition. Through powerful storytelling, the program brings to life the courage and resilience of Sarah Coates Harris, Julia Grant, and Adele Washburne as they navigated the struggle for liberty and voting rights during and after the Civil War.
