Plus, witness something truly special – a Naturalization Ceremony! Help us welcome new American citizens! GCV&M is thrilled to host a Naturalization Ceremony right here on Museum grounds on Independence Day at 11 a.m. Individuals from countries all around the world will take their oath and be sworn in as new citizens. As you make your way through the 19th-century village, find programming exploring what democracy means, what impact did the 13th, 14th, & 15th amendments have, what role did a Town Hall or a town meeting play in 19th-century communities, and more!
