Live Strategerist Podcast Recording and Book Signing with Gary Sinise

The Bush Center is pleased to welcome back Gary Sinise, acclaimed actor and advocate for veterans. Sinise will join us for a special live recording of The Strategerist podcast on Friday, November 13, 2026, to discuss his latest book, Graceful Warrior: The True Story of a Son, a Father, and a Family Who Carried Each Other Through. A tribute to his late son, Sinise reflects on writing this memoir, “So, I really believe that by sharing our story in this book, others who may be going through something difficult in their own lives may find hope and strength to help carry them through. We are, after all, all human beings. We are all going through difficult times ourselves, yet we can all be graceful warriors in how we approach our challenges in the fights we’re in.” Hosted live at the Bush Museum, guests have two opportunities to attend this complimentary event, a morning or afternoon session. Following both discussions, Sinise will be available to sign and personalize books. Registration is complimentary but required, along with the purchase of at least one book. The author will be signing books purchased with your event ticket. Doors open 30 minutes prior to your Live Strategerist Recording time. The George W. Bush Museum entrance located on SMU Blvd. Please reference map below. Please refer to the parking maps below for the best accessible routes as well as drop-off and pick-up points. If you plan to walk from the Bush Center Visitor Parking Lot, you can expect it to be about a 10-minute walk. Accessible seating is available at the entry-level of the auditorium. All other accessible seating is subject to the configuration for the various events. Please note the parking options below. Limited event parking will be available in the Bush Center visitor lot located directly across the street from the George W. Bush Presidential Museum entrance (please reference the map below). Parking in these lots is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors will be charged $10 per car for the first 4 hours and $1.00 for each additional 30 minutes. Visitors pay by credit card upon exiting the parking lot. When using the crosswalk between the parking lot and the Bush Center, please make sure to illuminate the lights to let drivers know you are crossing.
