Jan McFeeley & Carol Shakow Jan McFeeley MSW is a Certified Elementary Educator and a Certified Reading Specialist Jan has over 20 years of experience as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Coach in Philadelphia Title I programs. Jan’s professional training has included Wilson Reading System Level I, Fundations, The Science of Reading as well as many other research supported trainings. Carol is a retired Clinical Social Worker, Piano Teacher, Preschool Teacher as well as being a trained Music Therapist. Jan & Carol believe that Reading & Music are gateways that makes all other learning possible... Not just information, but life lessons of friendship, adversity, imagination, success and self knowledge.
