From Ghostlight Ensemble
Gendered Cut by Aaron Harris Woodstein is a young trans person's coming of age story. As a big milestone approaches — their Bar Mitzvah — they realize the feelings they've been hiding are valid, and that they could potentially have a Bat Mitzvah instead (with some beautiful new dresses in store)! Phoenix Rising Productions presents Gendered Cut, directed by Iris Sowlat, at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 24 and 3 p.m. Sunday, October 25 at the Playground Theater (4416 N Clark St 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60640). Tickets are free and available here. Gendered Cut features Ghostlight Ensemble Member Maria Burnham as Aunt Cathy.
