Introduction to Stained-Glass Painting 4-Day Workshop

Saturday, October 3, 10, 17, and 24 Location: Doering Center | Bryn Athyn College of the New Church | Bryn Athyn, PA 19009 1:00–4:00 pm $325 per person, includes materials fee 10% discount for members Attendee age limit: 16+ Advanced registration is required by 11:59 pm, Wednesday, September 30 In this four-day workshop—held on four consecutive Saturdays—participants will learn the fundamentals of traditional stained-glass painting. Working from a photographic reference, students will create their own painted glass panel using historic techniques such as tracing, matting, and silver staining, with opportunities to add personal creative touches. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired to permanently fuse the paint to the glass, then framed in lead and fitted with hooks for display in a window.
