Tuesday, June 23, 2026 8:00–10:00 pm Experience Bryn Athyn after dark! See the Bryn Athyn Historic District in a whole new light as Glencairn Museum, Cairnwood Estate, and Bryn Athyn Cathedral are illuminated against the night sky. Wander the beautifully lit grounds, enjoy sweeping views, and take in the peaceful, twilight atmosphere of these iconic landmarks after hours. This free outdoor event invites visitors to stroll the grounds, bring a camera, and experience the beauty and grandeur of Bryn Athyn’s historic architecture at night. Optional indoor access is available, with admission priced separately for each building. Indoor Access and Experiences: Glencairn Museum Admission to the first floor and select galleries $5 per person $2 Access Philly Cardholders Free for all Glencairn Museum membership levels and children 4 and under During your visit, enjoy self-guided access to the first floor of Glencairn Museum at your own pace. Highlights include the mosaic Bird Room, Upper Hall, Great Hall, Great Hall balcony, and the Craftsmanship at Glencairn exhibit. The Bedroom and Chapel will also be open to visitors. A 15-minute introductory video exploring the history of Bryn Athyn, the Pitcairn family, and Glencairn Museum will be available, along with family-friendly activities and prizes for children. First-floor access also includes self-guided viewing of the current temporary exhibition, The Sacred Art of Ethiopia (March 7–November 8). This is an open-house–style event, feel free to arrive anytime between 8:00 and 9:45 pm. (Indoor admission may be pre-purchased here, or paid at the door.)
