Characterized by uncommon rhythmic dexterity, inventive slide guitar work, and a uniquely grooving, percussive style, guitarist Jack West draws from the rich traditions of American folk, jazz, funk, and rock. Described by DownBeat as “a jaw-dropping joyride,” West joins forces with the tastefully virtuosic acoustic guitarist James Nash to celebrate the release of Guitars on Life, hailed by All About Jazz as “deliciously funky.” Together, the duo showcases selections from the acclaimed album alongside new material from West's forthcoming Spank Grass project, delivering an engaging blend of technical mastery, creativity, and infectious groove.
