KANDACE SPRINGS Takeda Theater at The Platform

Premier jazz and R&B singer-pianist Kandace Springs’ natural gifts for lyricism and soulfulness have propelled her onto the stages of storied concert halls and major festivals around the globe. Described by her late mentor Prince as having “a voice that could melt snow,” the Nashville native draws inspiration from legends Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Roberta Flack, earning 5-star reviews and prompting The Times of London to declare “Kandace Springs isn’t just a star. She’s an entire galaxy.” Sponsored in part by the Ellis L. Phillips Foundation. MEMBERS MAKE IT HAPPEN.
