Read Earth Knots: Chunky Knit Throw Workshop

Join us at Goat Patch - Lincoln Center on Sunday, September 13th for a beginner friendly craft that is fun, simple and highly addictive! No experience is required, this is perfect for beginners! You'll be working with extra chunky chenille yarn to create a cozy and functional throw you'll enjoy for years to come. Our Fiber Artist & Instructor Janel will provide group instruction as well as one on one guidance (as needed) so you leave with a complete project along with a sense of accomplishment and the desire to continue creating at home! Space is limited to just 15 spots, so get your tickets today! Open to participants 21+. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED AT CLASS. You will be making a lap sized chunky hand knit throw measuring approximately 40 inches wide by about 40 inches long (exact size may vary depending on knot tension used while creating the project). When you arrive at class you will make your yarn color selection. YOU WILL RECEIVE FIVE SKEINS OF YARN! Be sure to arrive early if you have a strong yarn color preference, there will be a variety of colors to choose from (neutrals, pastels, jewel tones, earth tones). Class is 3 hours long but depending how quickly you work it's possible you'll finish sooner.
