PCAC Artist Talk Series: Dajhia Maddox

An advocate for arts education, professional dancer and educator, Dajhia Ingram Maddox believes in the power of community building through dance and all art forms. This event will introduce attendees to the power of mind/body connection through dance, movement and writing. This exercise, guided by Maddox, will enable participants to write down the words that help create movement which reflects their personal stories, identities, and emotions. The event will conclude with a sharing of the cultivated movement, discussion, and closing mindfulness exercise.
