Yoga for Artists: Purusa in Pose

Join us at the Goldmark Cultural Center on Sunday 2/22 at 4:00pm for a free, monthly healing yoga class for Goldmark artists and friends, presented by Goldmark artist Sameera Butt. This class will take place in the Norman Brown Gallery located in Building 14001. Participants are encouraged to RSVP and sign-up here. Yoga mats, bolsters, sandbags, and blankets are provided! No need to bring anything! Purusa in Pose is a gentle yet active blend of Hatha and Yin yoga with mindful meditation woven throughout. It’s designed to be grounding and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We use props—especially bolsters and walls—to support different physical needs, making the poses approachable for everyone. We focus a lot on joint health and unwinding the strain modern work/life places on the body—improving mobility and cultivating a calmer state of mind.
